St. Louis, Kansas City, and Columbia! I’m headed your way THIS weekend. Free meet and greets after every show. Get your tix! But most importantly, where are the best places to eat? And any good coffee shops? I like supporting local businesses.
New podcast episode! A recent gift card experience inspired a whole discussion on how in the world to buy presents for people. Are you on team gift card? Or no? Jax and I are on opposite teams on this one.
Brenda rocked a new tee in last week’s video that the t-shirt company I work with gave me as a gift. I wasn’t planning on selling them but then I got 900 comments of people asking for them. So I bought a VERY limited number that I will only sell on my website. They will be shipped out a week from today so get your order in before they’re gone. (They only had S-XL shirts right now. And tax & shipping have already been included in the price)
I’ll never forget eating this five course meal that was cooked with marijuana for one of Chelsea’s documentaries. I ate every bite. I laughed at everything. I did a five minute monologue on chicken wraps. I asked if I could keep the stone slabs our food was served on so I could build a patio in my backyard. I kept yelling, “No lights left behind!!” to the electrician on set who was wearing camo cargo shorts. Then all of a sudden I could barely walk. My mouth was talking and I couldn’t hear it nor did I even know I was talking. I have zero recollection of our ride home. And I woke up still very high the next day. #happy420
New podcast episode! My mom (Ginger) and I discuss what it’s like coming out of the closet not only as an LGBT person but also what’s like for your parents. My mom also talks about being president of my hometown’s PFLAG (parents and friends of lesbians and gays). She’s ridden in pride parades, she speaks in schools, she’s stood in front of protesters at gay events holding signs of love.
