Month progress update: obviously the lighting is a bit different but you get the idea. I also wanted to make sure they were both relaxed poses.
I want to take the time to update you guys on my September Run goal. As I stated earlier last month my goal was to run 90 miles. Welp. I failed. 🤷🏻♀️ But I will say I did 55 miles in about 2.5 weeks which is pretty amazing in my book considering I have no running background. I can sit here and a give a list of excuses... like the fact that my kids both got the stomach flu then passed it to me. The fact that I had a shift change and was working 10-12 hours a day, or simply the fact that I was not making it a priority. But life happens. You don’t slash all three tires because of one flat.
September 20th I took my stats. I was at 137lb with 17% body fat. This morning I am at 132 and I would say I am about 14-15% bodyfat. That’s progress. What changed? My nutrition. I was not working out for about 2 weeks and a couple days so I knew it was essentially important to clean up the diet. I am eating roughly 1,950 calories with very minimal exercise (up until this week I started back on my lifting and I’ll be honest I’ve done about two 15 min. Cardio sessions. I love that I am in a caloric surplus and still dropping body fat. It will make it so much easier to deduct from my plan and slowly add intensity. Slow progress leads to long term goals. ✅
The physical changes may not be as drastic but the way I feel is second to none. 🙆🏻♀️ I have shifted from running so much bc I really want to conserve the muscle I have and build more. 💪🏼 My trainings are always different. I simply love to always try new things. Here’s to finishing October strong!!! 💪🏼 #motivation#flexfriday#fitmom#goaldigger#eatliftrun#lifestyle#brooksrunning#smashingoals#progressnotperfection#relaxedpose#comparison#transformation
Stage shot of my front relax pose. I competed as a light heavy weight one week ago. I can’t explain how much fun it was! I won the light heavy weight class as well as the men’s overall bodybuilding championship. I am excited to share more pictures from the show. Stay tuned. Thanks for all your love and support.
