Two worlds collide 💥
Interested in collective and personal spaces, Do Ho Suh's practice continuously tries to bridge the gap between his two cultural spheres – his home country Korea and his adopted home America. For LB2010, the artist wedged a scale model of his childhood home between two buildings on Duke Street in Liverpool.
The head-turning outdoor installation, Bridging Home, reflects the artist's fascination with invasion into personal space, acceptance of his divided cultural background and notions of cultural clashes.
