NEW ON BURN: Ignacio Colo (@ignaciocolo) presents 'At the Same Time.' He writes, "Eduardo and Miguel Portnoy are two 50-year-old twins from Buenos Aires, Argentina. They live together, they have never been apart since they were born, and today they are all alone in this world. Their family passed away with time: their parents, their only brother, also their uncles. They don’t have any close friends. They do everything alone. But they are never alone, because they have each other. The only support they have, their last safety net, is the Jewish community, that gives them employment, helping them materially but also, to a certain extent, emotionally. But, all in all, their main support is the love they have for each other and that symbiosis so typical of twins. The two of them are their only shelter, built upon love, loneliness and vulnerability." To see the rest of this essay, click the link in bio.
I think the best thing to hold onto in life is each other (and a📱for that 💑 selfie game). Most of the time you guys see the highlight reel of our lives. What you guys don't see is the everyday married life. It's hard work maintaining a healthy relationship while traveling a ton and building a meaningful brand. We fight, we get annoyed, we disagree but we also have the same vision, fundamental values, are best friends and have mad love for one another. It takes dedication and effort on both sides but we always have each others back. Tag your bae to let them know you love them!
Don’t worry, be happy. Or so the saying goes.
How important is minimizing stress if you want to make good gains in the gym.
It’s probably more important than you realize. One of the biggest progress-killers is cortisol: a hormone perhaps best know for the fight-or-flight instinct.
When cortisol levels become elevated, it can affect how your body uses carbs, fats, & proteins, as well reduces protein synthesis, which can prevent tissue growth - definitely not what you want if your goal is lean muscle mass (or even body fat loss). There’s a number of ways to help keep a check on cortisol levels (mainly by keeping calm under certain situations and not to take things tom seriously), but besides that, @omaxhealth offer some great products formulated to dal with just this.
This one I’ve got is called Phyto-max stress remedy, and includes ultra pure omega 3 (essential fatty acids), CBD (enhanced mood), and L-Theanine (amino acid that stimulates production of GABA).
Just 2 softgel servings and done. Easy.
The product truly helps with muscle recovery, battling inflammation, cutting out any stress, and really improving sleep! Better sleep = faster recovery. I’ll post more about this particular product in my IG Story with a direct link (upswipe). #omax#cbd#lessstress

Beachside with my beautiful sis @tditty2 and full of gratitude for all the family time here in Florida. 💙
Do you live near your family?
If so, how often do you see one another?
If not, how are some of the ways you stay in touch?
I find it hard not living near my siblings, but I love how we are all so close regardless. Lots of FaceTime calls and family group chats definitely help with that. Visiting each other in person is always the best, of course. 😊🙏🏼
"I adopted Tyson from @fetchwirescue on March 23, 2019, and I never would have gotten the opportunity to meet my grumpy old man without you blasting his picture out there into social media. His sweet gray face and his story about broke my heart when I saw your posts, and then one of my friends (also a Susie's Senior Dog follower) sent me his posting via messenger and said, 'This is your dog! I will go with you to pick him up in Madison!' Needless to say that was the last sign the Universe had to send me, and I put in an application for him the next day.
Tyson is doing amazing with me and his new younger brother Roscoe (Roscoe will be 8 in August), here in Illinois. The boys hit it off almost immediately, and Tyson's laid back personality has been great for Roscoe.
Tyson is a doll, for the most part, unless you tell him 'no' for something he really wants (like your sandwich) and then he proceeds to tell you in his grumpy grumbling mumble all of the reasons why you should share your sandwich with him. He also has a tendency to do a bit of mumble grumble whenever he wants to go outside or cuddle with you on the couch and there's no room for him to sit where he wants to. It sounds a lot like an old man mumbling under his breath at you because you're just being sooooo unreasonable! LOL.
Tyson also loves to play when he isn't living The Good Life snoozing away on all of the dog beds and couches in the house. Everyone who meets Tyson has a hard time believing he's over 10 years old because he's playful and just a mellow guy. He's also an avid sun worshipper and has been enjoying the perks of having a big backyard to chase squirrels and sunbathe in.
He is the total package - healthy and playful, but laid back and chill at the same time. His almost human facial expressions, his grumpy grumbling when he doesn't get his way, and his butt wiggles all combine into a completely lovable, adorable package that you can't help but love. He and his brother Roscoe do a great job bringing me laughter and joy everyday. -Jennifer" ❤️ #seniordog#adoptdontshop
