Here’s a much requested post. My skincare routine. I think good skin starts from within - the food you eat and the water you drink is what feeds your cells which in turn shows up on your skin. Then come the products. Our skin absorbs what we put onto it directly into our bloodstream which is why it’s important to be aware of what’s in the products you’re using. I switched over to clean beauty products because I’ve become super sensitive to synthetic fragrances (which bring on headaches, nausea and inflammation on my scalp and skin). I find that clean beauty products work much better for me. My routine changes depending on the season and location I’m in. Currently, my skin is feeling a little dry so these are the products in using... 05/2019 routine:
Step 1: cleanse with @oseamalibu “ocean cleanser” (I only use cleanser once a day, in the evening)
Step 2: tone with @agentnateur “pearl and rose hyaluronic toner” (calms skin)
Step 3: protect with @oseamalibu “atmospheric protection cream” (protects from environmental stressors)
Step 4: extra moisture using @agentnateur “holi(oil)” (I like that it adds a dewy finish to my skin)
I tap the product into my skin because a) it feels nice and b) It helps your skin absorb the product better.
