Back and core for me today. I get a lot of questions about how often I train core. Answer is EVERY DAY. Realize there is a difference between “abs” and “core”. Ab exercises are movements which engage, stretch and contract your abdominal muscles. You don’t need to do “abs” every day. Core on the other hand are movements which force you to engage your entire core as a whole (low back, abs, glutes, hamstrings etc). This is the foundation of your body. The stronger your core, the stronger (+ more protected and balanced) the rest of your body will be! Few of my go to’s are:
Mountain Climbers (on stability/bosu ball)
All different variations of Planks

Hope you woke up motivated today! Here are a few SOLID workouts to throw into your routine!
1️⃣ Stability/Bosu balance with ab slides. This is extremely tough on the core! If you want to work up to this: Try the stability ball alone, then add bosu, then add a step for your feet, last try with abs slides!
2️⃣ Weighted pistol squat with lateral burpees. Helps build agility and balance!
3️⃣ Push-up to sled pull with sled push. Great for explosive strength and speed 🚀
4️⃣ My favorite of the workouts here 🙌🏽 Crawl out with weighted mountain climbers to weighted knee raises. This is a killer ab/full body workout!

I get emails, snaps, DMs from people all day about nutrition and what they should be eating. Also get a ton of questions about cheat meals and cheat days. First I’ll go through a quick breakdown of a simple list of great foods in macro categories👇🏽
🔹Lean steak tips (you can do any lean steak or a lean ground beef)
🔹Organic chicken breast (I do tenders, they cook faster and are easier to portion)
🔹Lean ground turkey
🔹Not pictured (salmon, white fish)
🔸Organic steel cut oats (if you're on a budget, Quaker Oats will do)
🔸Low sodium Ezekiel Bread
As for veggies:
▫️ONLY water. Coffee is ok black or with almond milk 👌🏽
This list will give you a near perfect diet. This is my exact grocery list! I always keep fruit around (apples or cantaloupe) and cook with either olive oil or coconut oil (I use olive oil if I need a little more fat). Try your best not to buy potato chips, desserts and junk food. If you buy it, you WILL eat it! Try not to season with too much salt, and stay away from sugar. If you're new to eating clean, you don't need to go as serious as measuring macros, just make healthy decisions. I promise that if this is your next grocery list, you will see and feel changes within days.
First thing is first. We have cheat MEALS not days. If you feel like you deserve it, go for it! I always recommend using cheat meals strategically. For example, this In N Out was followed by a morning leg workout. The extra fats and sodium in the food CAN BE beneficial to your workout as it provides extra fuel and nutrients needed to put on muscle 💪🏽 Try to cheat with REAL FOOD (not boxed/canned/preserved foods) if you’re gonna do it. Lastly, yes, chest meals can help boost metabolism if it’s done correctly! Stick to clean eats the best you can and use your cheats effectively 🚀

This is a whole routine (for both men and women!) you can do with limited equipment in an hour or less. All are also great exercises to use in circuits in between lifts. My personal workouts consist of heavy lifts with exercises like these in between sets. Why? 👇🏽

Here are a few exercises from my routine yesterday. Was a much needed full HIIT/Agility session. I don’t always do an entire workout like this, but I usually do keep up pace regardless if it’s just lifts or we movin.
1️⃣ One of the hardest workouts I’ve ever done. Requires a ton of balance and control. Start on low boxes with no weights in hands and build up!
2️⃣ LOVE this push-up row combo. If you can’t stick 1 hand yet, stick both hands first then drop one to row.
3️⃣ RACK CITY! Usually always throw some type of cardio/agility/core in between all my heavy lifts.
4️⃣ Whether you just have some cracks in the floor or actually steppers, get those knees high! High knees are great for lower abs!
