And just like that I have a degree 🎓
Wow... I am honestly in total disbelief as to how I managed to pull this off AND this morning I received an email letting me know that I got accepted into the psychology honours program at Griffith for next year and I am beyond stoked 🌈😋 I’m sure as children, teenagers and young adults we can all recall a time when we were asked something along the lines of “What do you want to be when you grow up?” When posed with this question my repose would be “I don’t know exactly, I just want to help people.” Unfortunately school and I never really worked. There were about a million other things I would rather do with my time. Throughout high school i was never an academic student and I spent most my time getting in trouble or ditching class for the beach. If you had of told 18 year old me that I would have gone to uni and graduated and then gone back to do mor study I would have absolutely laughed in your face! I remember sitting down and applying for uni ‘just because’ I could! I never for a second would have got in to uni based on my grades because I literally only just passed school... the only reason I got in was because I went to a rural school and was offered early entry! When I got accepted something in me switched. I saw it as a once in a lifetime opportunity and I took it with both hands and ran! Looking back on my time throughout the last four years I can tell you it wasn’t easy... not in the slightest. I had so many personal obstacles and situations I had to over come and walk through to get where I am today. Moral of the story is that YOU can do and become and achieve anything you want in this life! Nothing can stop you... only yourself!
