A rudraksha is the seed of the Eliocarpus ganitrus tree and plays an important role in a spiritual seeker's life.
Rudrakshas are considered to be Beads of Power with which the Yogis of Himalayas maintain their health and kept their mind in tranquility. They also used them for self empowerment and to develop fearlessness from the physical hindrance on their path towards Liberation.
A group of scientists from of the Institute of Technology University in Banaras conducted a research to find out if the thousand year belief that the Rudraksha bead can cure is true. A combined research was conducted by a team of scientists from various faculties like Biochemistry, Electrical Engineering, Psychiatry, General Medicine and Psychology. The research proved that the bead does have powerful Electro-magnetic, Para-magnetic and Inductive Properties. These beads are said to induce Alpha State of Mind (State of Awareness) by sending signals to brain through the galvanic cells which results in rise in confidence and inner strength and also simulates the nervous and the endocrine system so that respiration is normal and there is calmness in the physical body.
It has been found that the beads can send Bioelectric signals to the brain and stimulate and enhance the brain to create positive impact on the activity of neurotransmitters and helps in maintaining a balance in the Dopamine and Serotonin levels. With the balance of these two biogenic aminies there is a possibility of transformation in the personality, mindset, attitude, charisma and also confidence of the individual who is wearing a Rudraksha bead.It is proved that wearing of Rudraksha controlled heart beat and had a positive effect on Blood Pressure, Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Palpitations and Lack of Concentration.
It can help mankind to enhance their ability to move towards a happy, healthy and blissful living.
Your mind is a gift, a remarkable work of nature. But like a best friend or a spouse, it can get pretty pesky. Especially when it won’t stop thinking negative thoughts.
Have you ever tried to stop yourself from thinking? It’s harder than it sounds. The only time I ever fully achieve this is when I watch reality TV, in which case my brain actually begins to atrophy. In order to find inner peace, we must also find inner silence. Silence is often underated and almost impossible to find in this day and age. There are many ways to go about this, either through meditation, visualization, or other means.
If you observe our problems, you will notice that most problems are rooted in the mind. The basic premise is the same: some external event happens, we choose to see only one side of the story, and then interpret the situation such that it causes some form of mental conflict, resulting in some form of emotional suffering. While it is easy to simply say, “drop your problems”, you and I both know that it is not that simple. We all have had years and years of conditioning in attracting problems and conflicts. So much so, that the simple concept of ’stop thinking about problems’ will be so effective on us.

Lord Shiva is regarded as the representation of the Supreme Being. Shiva is the destructive form of the Almighty. As the cycle of destruction and recreation is always in a circle, Shiva’s primary responsibility is maintaining the life cycle. As Mahakaal, Shiva destroys and dissolves everything into nothingness but as Shankara, he also reproduces that which has been destroyed and dissolved.
Lord Shiva is the most unique of all Hindu gods and also the God of all. A great ascetic, Shiva is the only godhead who is forever in deep meditation, totally absorbed in contemplation in His abode, Kailaasa Mountain in the great Himalaya. Lord Shiva is inseparable from Shakti. There is no Shiva without Shakti and no Shakti without Shiva, the two are one - or the absolute state of being.
Shiva has many faces, as creator, destroyer and preserver in total command of the cosmos. He is moody, free of inhibitions, easy to please, protector of the down trodden, and has the power to alter the laws of destiny. Thus, it is Lord Shiva is known as the God of mercy and kindness. He protects his devotees from all evil that are always around us. He blesses his followers with grace, knowledge and peace.
Shivling means the subtle body of Shiva. Shiva is Sat-chit-ananda, the personification of pure being, consciousness and bliss. Shiva is the god of the earth and the heaven. He is This (the world) as well as That (the Self). He is the One in whom all dualities of existence, including Shiv and Shakti are resolved. This highest ideal of oneness (ekam) is objectified in Shivling. When you worship a Shivling, you are but worshipping simultaneously both Shiva and Shakti. Indeed, even if you worship an image or a form Shiva, you are automatically worshipping both Shiv and Shakti. We may use gross materials such as stone or wood to make Shivling. They are but the objectification of the subtle body of Shiva only.
Nandi is said to be the vehicle of Lord Shiva. The bull represents both power and ignorance. Lord Shiva′s use of the bull as his vehicle expresses the idea that He removes ignorance and bequeaths power of wisdom on His followers.! ✨🌈👁🍃💀💚🎨🔱🐍⌛️🌙🌿🌈🙏🏻✨ @artiswellnl
