Now let’s talk about women researchers in science. How many are there? Numerous studies have found that women in STEM fields publish less, are paid less for their research and do not progress as far as men in their careers. We have to get into the root cause of the problem and take it from there in order to make significant changes.

While vet school is still the main goal, I’m excited to be spending the next couple of years completing a masters degree & achieving a greater depth of knowledge into research (which I ultimately plan to do with my DVM degree) 🔬
I’m excited to be rejoining my former lab & completing research looking at bat hibernation 🦇
I’m feel so incredibly fortunate and couldn’t be more thankful to everyone who has played a role in my life. I’m forever grateful ♥️
