One day I randomly walked in his room and saw nothing but beds, desks, and a pirate flag. So instead of greeting him properly, I said, "This room looks terrible. You need some colors!" I'd only met him once before, and I was being so rude. I had this great idea to attend a poster fair the university was hosting. We got a vintage Tattinger Champagne poster that showed a well dressed woman posing in a giant champagne glass and hung it above his bed. So whenever I see that poster at random vintage poster shops or flea markets, it makes me happy.
