I Know You Know how much coffee I drink! 😉☕️☕️☕️ Happy October and Happy #internationalcoffeeday (this is definitely a fake holiday I can get behind ☕️), everyone!
It seemed appropriate to start off this month with a thriller, and after learning that Gilly Macmillan had a new book out, I KNOW YOU KNOW, I couldn’t resist picking it up. I just started it today, and so far I’m thoroughly intrigued, and I’m enjoying the ways in which Macmillan is playing around with medium, mainly in her incorporation of the crime podcast as a new forum for storytelling. I personally looove crime podcasts (Serial, Dirty John, My Favorite Murder, Up and Vanished, Doctor Death, etc), so I thought it was a fun perspective to bring into the novel format.
What are you excited to read this October? Are you leaning towards spookier/creepier reads?
