Morning, vanavond slapen Suus en Pien bij m'n bestie en wat kijken ze daarnaar uit 😍. Wij kunnen dus alle kanten op, maar we komen er niet uit. In de bioscoop draait niks leuks, toen dacht ik, mss kunnen we wel naar the lion King (wishlist, maar zou ik eigenlijk een x met m'n moeder heen gaan). Maar door de drukke weken die achter me liggen heb ik ook stiekem wel zin om te cocoonen en niks te doen 🙈. Dus...... We gaan 't wel zien, of hebben jullie nog leuke tips?
Well unfortunately we had to make room and move this side table outside into the shed this week. I still haven't decided if we'll keep it as I love the wood but coming up to Christmas there's no room for it in the house so it'll stay in the shed until we decide whether to keep it or not. I'm starting to feel like we're a few french fries short of a Happy Meal 🙈 Not in general 😉 just regarding the amount of things we've ended up doing over the last week. I was chatting on the phone with my parents yesterday and was filling them in on what we've been up to and it's only when I said it out loud I realised they probably thought we'd both gone bat sh*t crazy 😂 We cleared out the sitting room and removed the old floor, architraves and skirting boards. We laid a new floor and made a pannelled partition which separates the hall from the living room. While we were waiting for tiles to arrive for the small hall entrance we made a "lean to" at the bottom of the garden (which is a wooden cover/roof from the back wall to the shed) put up two new fence panels to screen off the end of the garden and made a dog kennel. Our husky is a house dog but doesn't like the heat so we made him the kennel for days when he wants to cool off but can't go outside if it's raining. Now he can and he's been using it every day this week. . . Today we're laying tiles in the small hall area and not the ones we originally wanted as they wouldn't have arrived from Spain till after Christmas and next week we'll tile the fireplace too. My hubby has used up all his annual leave so we could do all the work and we should really be off enjoying the time together as he's working all over Christmas.
