Hello again! I'm @adamdavidrivera and it is a sincere honor to be on a takeover here @universetoday
I had been searching clear, dark skies of New York for several years and I eventually found myself going back to the same places. I had to make a change for myself. Just recently I moved to the Pacific Northwest and it has not let me down!
I often do not have a composition planned when I go to shoot and I think that is an essential part of astrophotography to me. I see Astro as a reflection of the human condition within space itself. So serendipty and happenstance are imperative.
This photograph was taken at the end of a road I drove down. This is a sky tracked/ stacked/ blend I recently took at Paul Peak in Mt. Rainier National Park. I used an Ioptron skytracker, tracking at 0.5x sidereal rate. Stacking 34, 20 second exposures.
Now I know these colors may not seem natural so let me explain myself. I see the abstract in my reality and I choose to go for the ride. I know that space is not purple, but this added color recapitulates the fantasy invigorated within.
If you are interested in my workflow or are learning to shoot the night sky yourself, DM me and I will be happy to asist you.
