I was looking for a great turquoise glaze when I formulated this glaze test years ago. Needless to say I was a little surprised when I opened the kiln to discover this perfect inky Navy! That’s how it goes sometimes with glaze making! You never know for sure until it fires! I’m still hunting for that perfect turquoise, but I absolutely love this happy accident and you guys do too so it’s become one of our mainstay studio glazes! Just a few of these stunning ring dishes left in the shop right now. Link in bio to shop!
Stacks that stopped me in my tracks. That navy, white, rose, and gold combo gets me every time. We secretly restocked those navy and gold splatter ring dishes yesterday and there’s a few left! Link in stories and bio.
This throwback photo is one of my all time favorites because of the color palette, overall simplicity, and all those gorgeous angles created by the vintage flatware. This reminds me, I’m thinking of selling some of my vintage gold flatware. Should I sell it in my shop? I mean I’m probably not going to be hosting dinner for 35 people anytime soon right? 😂
This time last year we didn’t even have a *real* studio, we were still working from my home garage! Sometimes life really changes in a blink!
I’m all about the steady, deliberate path and it hasn’t let me down in my 9 years of business. And no that doesn’t mean there haven’t been tough times, ha! Running a business is hard work! Next week on 1/17 The Membership opens for @thestudiosource and @alliedattilio and I have been hard at work to share our best techniques for growing a thriving art business. We’d love to have you join us!
Do you remember that time I was in the @anthropologie catalogue? Still feels unreal. This is a photo from the corresponding
@anthropologie blog feature which I just re-read tonight and it made me smile how happily unchanged my life is from when I first answered those questions! Link in stories to go read the post!

Just like those exclusively for @anthropologie deep pink swirled canapé plates shown here, you’ll want to get your in-stock favorites before they’re gone for good! Did you manage to get those pink swirled plates when they were available?
Handmade porcelain tiles freshly fired for a special project! Have you been following along in my stories? I share lots of behind the scenes sneak peeks of my studio life there. Looking back on favorite colors from the past. This handmade Amaranth glaze was a beautiful reddish, purply pink that was just so so pretty and I still regularly think about bringing it back into the fold. Into it? I want to know what colors you want to see this year! I’m ready to make some changes and play!
