There’s something bittersweet about ditching an old journal and starting a new one. I got the old one during one of my lowest, most unpredictable, nerve wrecking times in life. I moved to New York City carrying a whole bunch of rejections, way too many suitcases, and this journal. The pages are filled with funny, cringe worthy, life changing rants that wrap up my first 2 and a half years in the city so beautifully in the most awkward, poorly written way. Here’s to the next however many years that will fill the pages of this spiffy new journal!! Life gets better.... my grammar hasn’t.

Real talk: it’s so nice being back in my old bedroom where where the life I live now was still just a dream and the window I’m looking out, I used to look out and imagine the New York City skyline. I am so thankful that I could grow up with people that inspired me to grow my dreams into reality. I am LOVIN this time at home
4 games (including the one where we beat the Lakers), 3 rehearsals, 6 essays, 3 finals, NO SLEEP, all in one week. This semester I have learned SO much about time management and how to get it all done and still enjoy every minute of it... trust me I’m still learning... but it has been the absolute best semester for growth, wisdom, and learning how to take every opportunity that comes my way with open hands. Catch me and honey sleeping for the next 48 hours (after rehearsal ofc). Goodnight !!!
Last night @megan_leblanc baked cookies and cooked us dinner while we jammed to Justin Bieber’s Christmas album, sipped eggnog, and witnessed @craigwishart ‘s tragic dance moves. I am so thankful for this time of year and these people that I love so much.
