Happy fierce as$ Friday y’all! I’m about to hop on a plane and get out of this rain, but not before leaving y’all with some badas$ classes: 20min HIIT run and a 20min chest and back workout where we get to punch it outtt.
Sometimes you’re like a gargoyle, and sometimes you’re like Beyoncé (that’s the American version of a queen) ... either way you’re still cute, you’re you and I love you. ❤️ #beyou#queen#wednesday 📷 @graysonschaffer
This is me and my lil sis. You know what’s really amazing? We were best friends when we were babies and we’re best friends now. My sister @biancafrancescas is one of the strongest and coolest women I know. She follows her heart and her passions with conviction and grace, she makes dreams come true. ❤️ Lucky I have I have her in my life! Love you B 💗 ps your outfit is top
First I want to say : Congrats to all the NYC half runners today! You are all so inspiring ❤️ I also want to quickly touch base with y’all on how I’m learning to manage my expectations and anxieties as I’ve officially kicked off my training leading up to my first marathon. I have a great coach, a good program, and now I need to surrender to the work, and trust the process. I could derail mentally and/or physically changing my training, making excuses, overworking. The goal is to GET IT DONE. And that’s exactly what I intend on doing.
Spring is almost here, the flowers are reborn and the leaves begin to repopulate the trees, New York gets so green despite it being one of the most metropolitan areas in the world. Spring is a time to start fresh, or to try accessing the world through a new perspective. This weekend I officially kick off my marathon training! I’m very much looking forward to that new perspective. What are you looking forward to this spring?
“Champions keep playing until they get it right” -Billie Jean King 👑 Needed to read that quote this morning. It’s not always that we get what we’re striving for on first attempt. I have to check myself because I set wild high standards for myself, and at times I make it near impossible to meet those goals... or at least impossible to meet them overnight, so here’s the trick... can’t let the hiccups make you quit. We don’t quit. We get up and do it again and again and again, until we make it work.
I have to remind myself of this all the time, when I find myself in sticky situations, or when I’m going through something tough: one day you’ll look back and laugh either at how trivial it all was, or you’ll laugh for joy, at how wonderful it is to be on the other side, and how much stronger you are now for it.
Trust the process, trust in your conscience or your God, just make the next right move, you’ll be in the sunshine sooner than you think!
Hey fam! I’m teaching a 45 min Women’s History Month run Friday 3/8 @ 7am EST @onepeloton. Join us in celebrating and honoring women and their many amazing contributions to society ❤️ boys, you come too!! the playlist is siiiiick!
My friend @marcgabor is a good photographer, he enjoys walks about skid row a lot more than I do, but it’s his birthday so I’ll walk with him wherever he wants. I thought this was a really cool picture with the reflection of the sky on the building, but what’s hard to miss are the tents on the sidewalk, people’s homes lined up on the street. I haven’t really put all my thoughts together about the obvious homeless issue in DTLA. I’ll share when I feel I’ve made more sense of it. Last day in LA. I’m coming home NYC! And Happy Birthday Marc ❤️ #losangeles#moodymonday
