December 25th... Christmas day... Will have a different feeling... It marks the date my beloved uncle Paco passed... In 2016. Today, its the first anniversity of his death. This date the family would get together at his house for years. Today, the family went to him... At the cemetary. We were together with him again, just like so many times before. My uncle lived with us when i was little, making him my "super hero". He had polio early in his childhood, so he didnt have the legs all super heroes do. But to me thats just what made him the imposing man he was. He would stand tall with pride and was "bien macho"... He would eat his steaks nearly raw... Would crack and egg and eat it raw. He had incredible and amazing upper body strength. So i thought my uncle Paco was the "shit"... The real deal.... The man. For my uncle, i was his son, the one he never had. I always known his love for me was beyond love. Many years later, as his diabetes and poor use of his legs beat him down beyond words, he never lost his spirit. When most men would lose their dignity, my uncle just found a way to smile and keep "moving on". The last 3-4 years, as he was bedridden, and his organs were failing, and the blisters on his legs were eating him alive... He wouldnt let you know his pain. He had too much pride. In matter of fact, the times he fell off his chair or the toilet 10 o'clock at night, hed wait 7-8 hrs on the ground until he couldnt handle it anymore, just not to bother me. His sheer will was what made him such a profound influence in my life. So last yr, on Christmas day, as i went in room to say goodbye to him, i "noticed"... I noticed he was ready. He wanted to let go... He was ready... With the entire family with him at his house... By his side... His way. Only way he would of had it. To the very last moment, he called the shots... Just like real super heroes do. So my uncle passed... On his bed... With my hand inside his. He took a piece of me with him. At his service, i wanted the honor to put him up in his resting place... High up. One last time, just like i had done so many times before, i rose my uncle up... But this time for good. (Continue)

To achieve their goals. CIF Finals.... Please be good to us... To them. Go Tartars!!
