I’d heard that Aruba was beachy paradise...and it lives up to the hype! EASILY one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen 😍 I’m staying here for @hiltonaruba Wellness Week and today (after SUP Yoga) I had this bird interaction! Followed by a blissful Swedish massage, beach time and sunset meditation 🏝 I’m loving how active and balanced I can be —- & it’s surreal how just two days ago I was rushing around NYC 😂 Trying to soak in every minute I’m here!! Right now I’m accepting and loving my chaos, my travel, and hustle... to make space for routine and structure to grow. (I know a lot of people wish the opposite but REAL TALK we’re all creatures of habit 😂 and I’m craving some regularity!)

Everybody knows about 🍑 gains but don’t forget your flexibility gains! 😉 you don’t need to put your foot on your head, but basic mobility keeps you healthy, moving and feeling good in your body.
Be honest: how much effort are you putting into working out (lifting, cardio, HIIT) vs how much time are you giving your body TLC? What it needs to keep movable and healthy (yoga, foam rolling, ROM, etc)?
Wherever you’re at, let’s try to get those two numbers equal!! If all you do is yoga, consider adding in some basic strength and cardio work. If you all you do is strength, consider adding some yoga.
The goal is a movable body, taking care of yourself, being strong AND flexible, + a calm, focused mind.
So yep, how your 🍑 looks is great, but how your body FEELS goes wayyyy more. In the process of feeling great, I’ll promise you get the 🍑 too 😉😘

I didn’t want to post this pic last week because it didn’t represent me- I couldn’t smile, not quite yet. This week is different. This week I’m thinking about cultivating joy from many different sources so that I’m ‘anti-fragile’. If one part of my life doesn’t go the way I expect or want it to... its okay, because I have a robust and vivacious life that isn’t dependent on anything (a person, work, etc) to make me feel good.
Eating well, connecting with family and friends, doing good work, moving my body and reading/creating are all things that bring joy and love into my life and this week I’m scheduling in time for ALL of it 💕
