The Amityville Horror New on Blu-ray from Second Sight Films.
The Amityville Horror is a 1979 supernatural horror based on Jay Anson's book of the same name and is Directed by Stuart Rosenberg. Based on true events, The Amityville Horror tells the story of Newlyweds George (James Brolin) and Kathy (Margot Kidder) move into their new home where a mass murder was committed. I've never really been a big fan of The Amityville Horror movies, the more they made the worst they got, they probably should have stopped after the first one. The HD transfer is stunning on this release and the audio DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 which sounds great with no backround noise and comes with optional English Subtitles for the Hearing Impaired. There's some great special features which includes Commentary by Dr Hans Holzer, a bunch of interviews, trailer, TV spot and radio Spots. It really is great release from Second Sight Films and I highly recommend it to any horror fan. Btw this release is region B locked. The Amityville Horror Blu-ray is available from Amazon.co.uk

Day of the Dead: Bloodline New on DVD from @LionsgateUK.
Day of the Dead Bloodline is a reimagining of George A. Romero's 1985 classic Day of the Dead and it's directed by Hèctor Hernández Vicens. I'm a really big zombie fan and my favorite zombie movie of all time is George A. Romero's 1978 zombie classic Dawn of the Dead. So i got really excited when I found out they were making this film and couldn't wait to watch it when it was released. What can I say about the movie? Some of the acting was really bad, the only good actor in this whole movie was Johnathon Schaech who played the zombie Bub like character Max. Normally when you watch a zombie movie, you don't want, let's just say Bill & Ben to die but in this movie I didn't care who died I just wanted it to hurry up and finish. As a zombie fan I wouldn't really recommend this film to anyone and I wouldn't waste your time watching it, that's just my opinion. Tom Savini made a really great remake of Night of the Living Dead and Zack Snyder also made a great remake of Dawn of the Dead, they just can't seem to do Day of the Dead justice. This is the 2nd time they made this movie the first being the 2008 flop. If you do actually want to watch it, check it out on VOD first and if you like it buy it. Better yet just watch the original Day of the Dead, trust me you'll feel better for it.
