Life isn’t always how it seems, sometimes those that smile the brightest are the saddest. Today I’m thinking a lot about my sister Sarah and I miss her more then the day she flew away. I try to remind myself daily that we all struggle in life but aren’t alone in this world. Smile to the people who look happy, sad or indifferent. Be kind to people who aren’t kind to you. Spread love to everyone you encounter for it isn’t an accident that your paths crossed. Yoga gives me peace and balance. I concentrate on a moment and breathe through the emotions. I love and I live. 🦋
Every choice you make moves you closer to your soul. Energies and vibrations constantly surround us but are overlooked by the material world. If we took the time to look beyond, we could find what’s truly within. 🧿
“I say “Namaste” because I like what it means,
not because I am Hindu…
A lot of people think I am a Christian
because they think
I talk about Christian values,
but the truth is I am really talking about Human Values.
I’ve been asked if I am a Buddhist,
just because I have discovered inner piece.
A lot of my friends are pagans and they think
I am one too
because I say that being in Nature is my idea of going to church…
Do you want to to know what I really am ?
It’s very simple.
I don’t need any label to define me.
I am a piece of the universe,
Sentient and Manifested and
I AM AWAKE.” ~ Paul Enso Hillman •Today I was gently reminded that we are all one. Created from the same source of love meant to spread and embrace our own individuality. Be kind to those who differ from you. For we never encounter anyone on accident, there is always a divine purpose behind it. Smile to those who look sad, happy, mad or grumpy because we all share emotions. Love the way you wish to be loved. And be the light you wish to see in the world!
To see two different versions of myself in one picture is a little mind blowing. The girl on the left was confident but lacked self-love. As women we are constantly criticized and subjected to society’s idea of beauty. But to me it wasn’t about loosing weight to fit a mold it was about becoming a stronger, healthier, fully whole individual. The woman on the right is happy and free. The chains that used to hold me down in my mind are quickly disappearing. Fitness/healthy living is less about the body and more about the mind. The more you push yourself to do, the more you realize you can do on your own! I am thankful for the journey I went on this year. Spiritually, physically and mentally- I am me.
“The essential lesson I've learned in life is to just be yourself. Treasure the magnificent being that you are and recognize first and foremost you're not here as a human being only. You're a spiritual being having a human experience.” ~Wayne Dyer~
• More than grateful that I was able to spend the first few days of 2019 reconnecting with myself•
