Last night a cold front swept Paris and I didn’t bring anything for SNOW so I had to borrow a sweater from my 6’6” friend Sam and then buy a hat and gloves from a street vendor whom I successfully bargained with in French. 15 euros for a beanie? Lol dude. I drank mulled wine under the eiffel tower and annoyed the shit out of this man who delicately/beautifully made me a crêpe from his street cart. “It’s my first crêpe in Paris!! This crêpe looks delicious!! Sir what is your name??? IM SO EXCITED!!”
Today I walked around Paris in twenty degree weather. I spent a few hours at Musée d'Orsay. I ate the best burrata I’ve ever had in my life. I spent actual quality time with my favorite long distance friend @vanmansam (who lives in Belgium but took the train to see me). I ate twelve chocolate croissants in one sitting. I drank champagne for breakfast. I danced in a basement jazz club with a complete stranger like an idiot American tourist surrounded by brilliant musicians. This atheist watched a gorgeous Sunday night mass inside Notre Dame. Right now I’m eating Cadbury chocolate and watching the super bowl in French and I’m missing someone back home but I’ve never been more grateful to have had this time in Paris for the first time. Thank you Empire Conventions for making this week in Paris possible and thank you to all the fans that showed up to hang out with me, @greggsulkin@davidhenrie and @mrgrabeel !!
