So continually inspired by architecture and old, gorgeous places. Check out some sneak peeks from our wedding last night on stories right now, and stay tuned for those photos! Since I don't want to share an iPhone photo from that because I know the film will be leagues better, enjoy this beautiful capture of Notre Dame in Paris, taken by @alexandragrantphoto during her time there for the @sophiekayephotography workshop! Can you imagine how much time it must have taken to carve all of this out? What places in the world inspire you most?
Hi - it's me! Tell me, does anyone else have such trouble sleeping when your brain is in a creative mode? I keep trying to shut down these thoughts by the evening but I am just so excited about a couple projects we have coming up that I can't stop thinking about them. I've also always been a night owl. To see what I mean, go give @eastmadeco a follow and you'll be the first to know when things get rolling over there in a couple months!

Only two more sleeps until a week off! Truth: when I started this business I didn't think I'd be working this hard. But the honest truth of running your own business is that it's impossible to take a true hiatus because your brain is always running. •
I am constantly thinking about our brides. Are they stressed? How can I help? Constantly on email. Constantly thinking of the next best event design detail or innovative photo shoot project. Thinking about curating my Instagram, or even another fresh business project. Should I email that person back to grab lunch? I should probably blog. But wait, I need to pick up more lighters and scissors for next weekend (the eternal Target list!) •
We've talked about self care before, but I'll say it again: taking time for yourself is SO IMPORTANT. I am realizing this now, in year 3 of business, more than ever before. Because when I'm tired or overrun, I simply can't do my best work. But, that's ok - I am human! This week I endured a couple of migraines and had to take a few days away from my computer screen. Another honest truth- my body knows it's time for a vacation. •
So, tell me Instagram, if you are reading this long caption: how do you guarantee time for yourselves that is truly relaxing, where you are completely present and business-thought free? Tell me about your self care and ways to rejuvenate... and then go enjoy your weekend away from Instagram!! •

We have a two week vacation break now until our July weddings and I woke up today almost not quite realizing that it's Monday, which was the best feeling! This week, I'll be finalizing our July wedding orders and plans from the pool. Hope everyone else can take some relaxation breaks during this wedding season as well! What are you doing to enjoy summer vacation?
Floral @sophiefelts - This bouquet she made for our bride Kat is one of my all-time favorites, and I can't believe it has been over a year since we celebrated this gorgeous wedding!
