In case you haven’t seen this delight, here’s “The Group Mind Has Decided You’re in Love” from last week’s #crazyexgirlfriend (Pro tip: watch Scott’s face from the moment he takes the cowboy hat until the end of the number.)
My husband directed this week’s upcoming #crazyexgirlfriend. Between shooting scenes of the previous episode, we had a song meeting in Rebecca’s bedroom while Wiley rolled around on Rebecca’s bed. My apologies to Rebecca if her bed now smells like dog and she finds a random script page that describes the fantasies she has in her head.
I hosted the Patron of the Artists awards for the @sagaftrafound last night and @ladygaga was one of the recipients. When she received her award, she gave one of the best speeches about mental health I’ve ever heard in my life. I saw her afterwards and I was still shaking and close to tears from her speech. They wanted a picture of us both so she said, “let’s do something funny!” and got on the ground. What an unbelievably fantastic human being.
Tomorrow night’s #crazyexgirlfriend features one of the most elaborate dance numbers we have ever done. From this first costume fitting to the moment the director said “cut,” I was grinning so wide that a bird flew in my mouth and made a nest and now my head is a protected nature preserve.
I went to see my high school’s production of “The Laramie Project” and here’s me standing at my old locker in the band hall. (Also, we did the same show 15 years ago directed by the same director and I feel like these talented kids KICKED OUR ASSES. 2nd pic is a few of my fellow cast mates from 15 years ago/our director Mr. Westerberg/AD and former classmate @madisun_avenue. Everyone go see it at @mchsdramatechdepartment!)
Fawkes and I voted! (to be clear: that is a bird-shaped lamp on which I put a sticker, I did not commit voter fraud and send in another ballot for said bird-shaped lamp, just wanted to cover my bases before this becomes a right wing meme)
