Like an automobile, a suit is an investment that must be regularly maintained. Our editors provide five tips for prolonging your suit’s life. Read on for the top two, and tap the link in our bio to learn all five.
1. Brush it off. Brush your suit to remove unwanted dust, particles and dirt prior to settling into the fabric. A clothing brush made from natural fibers is your best option.
2. Let it breathe. Instead of hanging in the closet directly after use, your suit should properly ventilate on a valet stand or chair. Fine suits are made from natural fibers, which require the circulation of air to stay fresh.
