Bucket list photos. For me The Arc de Triomphe was at the top of my list and I was fortunate enough to visit here last summer. A trip that ended up being one of the most intense adventures we have been on yet. A little history about the The Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Beneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I. Cheers to a new year of new adventures. What’s on your bucket list? 🤔 @djiglobal
*The Lost Files* These two brothers are the last two of the real living Cormorant Fishermen of China. Cormorant fishing is a traditional fishing method in which fishermen use trained cormorants to fish in rivers. Historically, cormorant fishing has taken place in Japan and China.
To control the birds, the fishermen tie a snare near the base of the bird's throat. This prevents the birds from swallowing larger fish, which are held in their throat, but the birds can swallow smaller fish. When a cormorant has caught a fish in its throat, the fisherman brings the bird back to the boat and has the bird spit the fish up. #nikonnofilter
